Sadly, up to this point I have been unsuccessful in finding a unique vintage rug that fit into my budget. That was until I was contacted by Revival Rugs and offered a chance to review some of their gorgeous products. And believe me – I jumped at the opportunity!

This cool new company, made up of two couples – one of whom lives right in Istanbul, sources unique vintage handmade rugs directly from Turkey. Each rug is a one-of-a-kind treasure, handmade and they’re all anywhere from 30 to 100 years old.

And now the part about this company that I really love – they decided to skip the middlemen altogether, and they are selling the rugs they source in Turkey directly to US consumers. That means that folks like you and me can enjoy gorgeous and unique vintage pieces without spending big bucks from retailers who have marked them up.

And here’s another thing that I think is really awesome – if you’re not ready to commit to a rug right now, you can bring the handmade, artisan look into your decorating with cushion covers made from remnants of beautiful vintage rugs.

Amber and Ben from Revival Rugs generously sent me a pair of cushion covers made from some of their original, one-of-a-kind vintage rugs. I’ve used them in a couple different areas in my home and have loved the unique flair they’ve added to my rooms.

And these are really high-quality, well made covers, too. I’m impressed with them and can’t sing their praises loudly enough. I know I’ll be using them in my decorating for a long time to come.
