This post about shopping for a faucet is sponsored by Ferguson Bath, Kitchen, and Lighting Gallery, but all opinions expressed here are my own!
What’s your favorite piece of “jewelry” to add to your home? For almost any room in general, I love adding a little bit of bling through pretty lighting. For kitchens and baths specifically, beautiful faucets and sinks add that perfect finishing touch that really elevates a space. So let’s talk about shopping for the perfect faucet!
I’m currently working on a home for a young family here in Utah. This young couple is expecting their first child in addition to building a new home…all during a global pandemic! My goal all along with this home has been to help make the building experience as stress-free as possible for my clients, but it seemed even more important to make it as stress free as possible under these circumstances. And I have to say, when it came to shopping for the perfect faucet, our local Ferguson Showroom was about as easy and stress free as it gets!
Our local Ferguson Showroom is in Park City, Utah. I called and made an appointment with one of their sales reps, where we had a fun and super smooth visit. Because of Covid, we were the only customers in the showroom in the time, and I have to say, it was nice to have the run of the place!
If you’ve never been a Ferguson Showroom, you are in for a treat! We were specifically looking for a kitchen sink and faucet, but they have so much more in their showrooms – lighting, appliances, and hardware, in addition to a robust selection of sinks and faucets.
Although shopping online is super convenient and accessible and sometimes necessary (hello pandemic!), there’s really nothing quite like touching a product and seeing it in person to know if it’s right for your home. I was so happy that my client, Nicole was able to feel and see so many beautiful options. And it’s so helpful to be able to see them all together to really understand the size, shape, and finish of each piece.
Nicole knew that she wanted a pull down sprayer in her faucet, so we concentrated on those. It was helpful for her to be able to feel the action of the sprayer, and to see if she liked the spring and the size of each pull down.
It didn’t take us long to choose what we think is the perfect farmhouse sink and faucet for Nicole and Jake’s new home. We went with this clean-lined Torun fireclay single bowl apron front sink from Signature Hardware for the kitchen sink:
And since Nicole wanted a single hole faucet for ease of cleaning, we went with this pretty Ocala pull down faucet from Signature Hardware in stainless steel.
Isn’t that just the most beautiful faucet?! I love the clean lines and the graceful curves. I think the faucet and the sink are going to work together fabulously to make one beautiful statement in this new home!
And checking out was a breeze – Christine was our sales rep, and she is so knowledgeable and helpful…made everything super easy for us!
I can’t wait to show you Nicole and Jake’s finished kitchen. It’s going to be so pretty with the addition these beautiful Ferguson products! If you have a local Ferguson Showroom, stop in and check out all they have to offer. And if you don’t have a local showroom, be sure to check out their website.
