Beautiful Easter and spring centerpieces
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’m all about a pretty, but simple table – especially when it comes to holiday dinners when I’m hosting our extended family of close to 20! I look for something eye-catching and lovely, but easy to set up and even easier to clean up! Today I’m sharing some favorite beautiful Easter and spring centerpieces that meet both of my criteria.
This year I hit pay dirt when I found this galvanized trough at our local thrift store. It originally was built inside a weird wooden piece of furniture, but the wooden piece was a falling apart and clunky, so I lifted out the trough and asked the clerk if I could buy it without its wooden partner. And the happy answer was “yes”! It was a lucky $5 find.
To use the trough for our Easter centerpiece, I simply added a length or two of wood to the bottom of the trough so that the flowers sat up higher, placed 5 pots of tulips (Walmart $3.95 each and still in their pots) inside, and spread two bags of shredded green paper Easter basket “grass” on the top. Simple and striking!
And even better, it can be used as both an Easter and a spring centerpiece.
Here are some other ideas for gorgeous Easter (or spring) centerpieces. What I like about all of them is that they are elegant, and still very easy to pull together on short notice. I’ve included links to each of the original sites – most of them contain tutorials.
I hope you’ve found something beautiful that you can use as a centerpiece this Easter and on into spring!
Thanks for stopping by, friends!
