My husband and I are getting ready to plunge head first into a new and exciting (and slightly scary) business project. I can’t say a lot about it right now until we’re a little further along, but suffice it to say that it involves me purchasing some furniture. Oh, and did I mention that we’re on a budget during this little foray? So my search for the perfect furniture has me looking for pieces that offer lots of style at a great price. I want to share with you what I’m looking at so far, because this furniture shopping too fun NOT to share!

At the moment, I’m shopping for upholstered beds. I just love how they give a room so much presence, and an elegant feel. The first bed pictured is my own. It’s a white leather headboard with nailhead trim. The second bedroom above by the talented Becki Owens. Both of these photos are good examples of the high-end look you can get with a beautiful upholstered bed. I’ve seen several during my search that I really love but that are too pricey for my budget. But the good news is that there are upholstered beds out there that are both stylish and budget-friendly . Today I’m sharing with you my 9 favorite upholstered beds under $600! And really, most of them are under $400, but that No. 7 I just couldn’t resist adding, and it’s a little over $500 – so it blew my catchy “Under $400!” heading. But I love that wood trim, it’s totally worth it!
