Easy fall centerpiece
I have been so inspired by the beautiful fall tablescapes I have seen on Instagram and blogs lately. So many creative, unique ideas! I thought that today I’d share with you my own easy fall tablescape, and some other favorites I’ve seen recently.
The inspiration for my centerpiece came from the beautiful white pumpkins I bought at the beginning of October. I decided that I would keep my table, and my centerpiece as easy as possible, and only use items that I already own. And out of those two ideas came this simple pumpkins on a cake stand centerpiece.
To make this simple centerpiece for your own table, all you’ll need are:
- A medium to large white pumpkin
- A white cake stand
- Some fruit or vegetables to surround the base
- Possibly a riser to lift the center pumpkin up – I used a soup bowl
I used some artificial artichokes that I already owned, but I think this centerpiece would be equally lovely using pomegranates, oranges, pears, apples, or any other fruit or vegetables whose color integrates with the other colors on your fall table.
Simply place your large pumpkin on a white cake stand (I needed to use a riser in the form of a small white bowl in order to raise my pumpkin up above the artichokes.) Surround it with the fruit or vegetable of your choice.
That’s it! A simple and striking fall or Thanksgiving centerpiece!
I finished off my fall table with a glittered burlap tale runner (leftover from our daughter’s wedding)Â gold chargers, white plates edged in gold, simple green and white striped napkins, and tiny white pumpkins. I also cut place cards out of a brown paper bag and wrote guest’s names in gold, then tied the name tags to the small pumpkin stems. Votive candle holders made out of small jars dipped in glue and gold glitter (also from our daughter’s wedding) finish off the table and add a little sparkle.
My kind of table – simple, pretty, and put together using things I had around the house.
